Make sure you know your ability level!

It is important for us to know your ability level to plan the lesson accordingly and help you get to the next one!

Group lessons are divided by ability level as well as by children and adults

Private lessons are ideally divided in the same way as group lessons, it’s up you though if you want to do divide your group or learn all together. Take into account that the terrain and pace of the lesson will be picked according to the member with the lowest level and or age.

SKI

Level 1 – First timer. Never had experience with skiing.

Level 2 – 2nd time on snow, learning basics, stance, position, stopping and turning.

Level 3 – Gaining confidence on green slopes. You are able to ski in a wedge position, controlling turns and speed. You are starting to go faster down the slope.

Level 4 – You have confidence on the beginner slopes and starting to ski intermediate slopes. Yours skis are moving from a wedge position to becoming closer together and almost parallel or already parallel.

Level 5 – You are skiing with confidence on intermediate slopes with parallel skis. As you start exploring more difficult terrain you are looking to improve your skills.

Level 6 – You are able to ski the whole mountain with confidence and with skill. You are looking to fine tune your skills for all conditions to master skiing.

SNOWBOARD

Level 1 – First timer. Never had experience with snowboarding.

Level 2 – 2nd time on snow, learning basics, stance, position, stopping and turning.

Level 3 – Gaining confidence slip sliding and traversing the slope but you need more practice to link turns riding your edges.

Level 4 – You have confidence on easy and intermediate terrain linking turns and controlling speed.

Level 5 – You are now ready to take on more challenging terrain with confidence using the skills you have learned and riding at pace.

Level 6 – You are boarding all over the mountain with confidence, next step is taking on all conditions. From steeps, bumps and powder riding at speed.
